Milton Keynes Dons have signed Cohen Bramall, a former Colchester United left-back. The 30-year-old has joined the newly-promoted side after leaving Luton Town at the end of last season.

What does Bramall bring to the team?

Bramall told the MK Dons website: “Dons fans can expect a confident and fast player who likes to take free-kicks. I’ll keep going until the wheels fall off, and that’s what I build my game around.”

Why did Bramall choose MK Dons?

Bramall accumulated 68 appearances in all competitions for Colchester between August 2019 and February 2021. He helped the U’s reach the League Two play-offs under John McGreal, scoring in the first leg of their semi-final defeat against Exeter City, in 2020.

What's next for MK Dons?

MK Dons boss Paul Warne told the club’s website: “Cohen Bramall is a player I've had before. He’s had a really good career, and he’s very quick on the pitch. He’s like a fullback that has winger tendencies, who always wants to take people on and gives us a great dynamic energy down the left side. With a league standing of 2nd in League Two, 86 pts, 24W-14D-8L from 46 games, and a recent form of DWWWD, Milton Keynes Dons are looking strong for the new season.
