Club stalwart Joe Tomlinson was allowed to leave in the summer in order to join League Two side Cheltenham Town, leaving just Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Sammy Silvera as their only senior options, both of whom played in their EFL Cup defeat to Norwich City.

Why it Matters for Milton Keynes Dons Fullah played 13 times for the Addicks last season, with the 19-year-old breaking through in Nathan Jones’ plans to become a regular in their senior matchday squads in the Championship. He was handed his big break in the EFL Cup that season, playing and scoring against both Stevenage and Cambridge United in August, with his efforts ultimately earning him Young Player of the Year at the club. A move to Milton Keynes would be his first loan spell away from the Valley, having represented the club since joining at the Under 10s level.

The 19-year-old is unlikely to get opportunities with that pair in the squad, but with Milton Keynes Dons, he may run into similar issues in terms of playing time given the experience of the current options that Paul Warne has at his disposal.
